What Good Anywhere is

Good Anywhere is a library of travel guides. You read them, and you plan and book your own trip.

We are not a travel agency, and this is a deliberate decision rather than a stage we haven't reached.

We don't sell flights, accommodation, transfers or packages. We don't take bookings or payments for any part of your trip, and we don't act as an agent or intermediary for anyone who does. Where a guide links out to a hotel, an airline or a booking platform, you're dealing with them directly, under their terms.

What that means for responsibility

Because we don't arrange or sell any part of your trip, we aren't responsible for how it goes. Cancellations, delays, overbooking, a closed restaurant, a changed timetable, a price that moved, a problem with a hotel — those sit between you and the provider you booked with, and with your insurance.

What we are responsible for is the quality and honesty of what we publish. If a guide is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. That's a promise we can actually keep.

The guides are information, not instructions

We check what we publish and we update it, but things change: opening hours, prices, visa rules, safety conditions, whether a place still exists. Always confirm anything critical — visa requirements above all — with the official source before you travel. Use your own judgment about activities, especially anything physical or remote.

Your subscription

The free guide is open to everyone, no account needed. Paid plans give access to the full library for as long as the subscription is active, including guides added and updated while you're subscribed.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't ask why and there's no retention call.

If we change the price, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel.

Your account

One account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself. Your saved trips and notes are yours — private unless you choose to make one public, and deleted when you delete your account.

The content is ours

The guides, the itineraries, the maps and the writing belong to Good Anywhere. Read them, use them for your own trips, share a link. Don't republish them, resell them, or feed them into a product of your own.

Anything you write and choose to make public — a trip report, a note — stays yours. By making it public you let us show it on the platform. You can make it private again whenever you like.

Trip reminders

If you give us your dates, the reminders follow them. They're informative and they're there to help. They aren't a monitoring service, they aren't a guarantee that you've remembered everything, and we aren't liable if one doesn't arrive.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We may close an account that's being used to republish or resell our content, or in a way that harms other people.
